We have a very rare opportunity for a 1/2 day fossil trip to a large, working quarry. There is only room for 19 participants, so if you’re interested you need to act on this quickly. The cost is $45.
We will meet in Punta Gorda at 8:00 AM to carpool to the site. No low-slung cars are allowed.
Rules:
1. You must be a Sanibel Shell Club member for at least one year.
2. You must be over 21 years old.
3. Only one person per family allowed.
4. Sturdy boots or closed shoes (muddy, wet area), long pants, hard hat, orange vest (given to us at the site).
5. You MUST have waiver form (emailed to you by the club) that is signed and notorized.
6. Bring your own buckets, gloves, dig tools and water and snacks.
