Please join us on Sunday, Feb 9 for the monthly meeting of the Sanibel-Captiva Shell Club at the Sanibel Community House. The silent auction opens at 1:30pm and will close promptly at 2:00pm at which time the meeting will begin with the guest speaker. All silent auction proceeds are applied to our monthly expenses including the cost of renting the Community House for our non-profit shell club meetings.
For our Feb meeting, we’re pleased to introduce Meredith Blain presenting her talk entitled, “Tales of Turks and Caicos.”
A Photographic Journey…
The presentation includes a brief overview of what to expect when traveling to Turks and Caicos, including things to do and places to visit. Tour the Caicos Conch Farm where the Queen Conch is King. Learn all about the beaches and shells on this island paradise. Enjoy the photographic journey along with a display of photo canvas artwork and seashells.
Meridith is a Sanibel Shell Club member and also a member of the Englewood Shell Club. She is a Beach Ambassador for BIPS (Barrier Island Park Society) and loves adventure, travel, shells, and photography.

The Club shirts are 50/50 poly/cotton, Dry Blend, with a stitched logo.
These shirts tend to run a bit small so don’t order the size you usually wear. Use the directions below to determine your correct size.The WIDTH is the most important measurement. Measure the width of a shirt that fits you well. Measure 1 inch below the armhole and then order your shirt accordingly.

The women’s shirt has a cuffed sleeve. If you prefer a straight sleeve you can order a unisex shirt. Women’s sizes are limited, however the unisex shirts can be worn by anyone.
