After months of planning and preparation, the Sanibel-Captiva Shell Club is very excited to host the 2021 Virtual Sanibel Shell Show! It will be an amazing 2-day virtual event, and we hope you’ll be there as everyone in the world watches the show together.
DIRECT LINKS to the VIRTUAL SHOW ON YOUTUBE
Here are the direct LINKS to each day’s Virtual Sanibel Shell Show on our club’s YouTube channel. The 2-day show will automatically begin at noon EST on Friday Mar 5 and at noon EST on Saturday Mar 6.
CLICK on these LINKS right before noon each day, and we will see you at The Show!
NOTE: The shows will start exactly at noon EST each day, so if you click on these links before that, it’s no problem. You will see our YOUTUBE PREMIERE waiting screen (below) showing the actual number of days/hours/minutes before the movie starts.
Exactly at noon EST, the waiting screen will change to a 2-minute countdown screen (see below). The CHAT and COMMENTS areas are available to use if you have a YouTube channel, or you can chat with us using email or our website CONTACT US form. Email address and website links are listed in the full video description below the video screen. When the 2-minute countdown is over, the show will start automatically.
If you can’t watch right at noon, don’t worry. You can click the LINKS at any time between noon and 3pm EST to join the show in progress.
After 3pm on Friday, the Day 1 movie becomes public and you can watch it again from start to finish, or scrub forward to see a particular video again.
After 3pm on Saturday, the Day 2 movie also becomes public.
On Monday, March 8 each individual video that was in the virtual show will also be available on our video webpage and also on our YouTube channel to watch again and again.
SANIBEL SHELL CLUB YOUTUBE CHANNEL
At any time before, during, and after the Virtual Shell Show, you could head over to our Sanibel Shell Club YouTube channel to see our current list of videos. Each video has its own small thumbnail image and you simply click on a thumbnail to watch that video.
On our YouTube channel home page, you will see Day 1 and Day 2 thumbnails which will look like this (see below) displaying the word PREMIERE before the show begins. After the Virtual Shell Show is over, these two show videos will be available to watch anytime.
MAKE SURE YOU CLICK DAY ONE (with RED WELCOME) on Friday before noon EST.
